Jean Vanier – After serving in the Canadian Navy, he studied Philosophy in Paris and later became Asst. Professor  at the University of Toronto.  God then called him to a radical new life to lead a worldwide Christain community, L’Arche, bringing faith and compassion to mentally handicapped people.
