As we enter the new Millennium, darkness is gathering before the Dawn. These things should encourage us to look up and rejoice, because King Jesus is coming soon! The Church needs to prepare the way of the Lord. This prophetic ministry is typified in Elijah, the fiery prophet, who strode into Israel during the reign of Ahab and Jezebel, over 800 years before Christ. Elijah was sent to confront evil, to declare God’s truth and to demonstrate His power over the enemy. The much heralded ”revival” is as elusive as ever and many Christians are in danger of becoming focussed on a ”move of God” rather than on the return of the ”Eternal Son of God”.
