Corrie Ten Boom sees God’s love as the one thing that stands when all else has fallen. In the appalling conditions of a concentration camp during the war, all else had fallen, but Corrie found that God’s love stood. Corrie Ten Boom’s family lived in Holland, and early in the Second World War she and her sister, Betsie (together with other members of her family),were arrested and sent to a concentration camp. There, they experienced both suffering and the love of God. Corrie survived and for many years spoke widely of her experience. She died in 1983.
